INVITATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR ENGAGEMENT OF A LEGAL COUNSEL

RMK needs full time services of a Legal Counsel to work exclusively for RMK on fixed consolidated monthly fee of Rs.75000 for a period of three years. Further extension of the contract will be subject to performance review and requirement of RMK.

A walk-in interview at the aforementioned address has been scheduled on 25th July 2013, Thursday at 11:00 a.m. interested candidates are requested to bring their bio-data alongwith testimonials including education certificates, experience certificates, enrolment proof with the Bar Council, age and address proof etc.

Job responsibilities

(i). He/she will personally appear as Counsel in District Court, Delhi, for all its Execution Petitions. He may also be required to appear in District Court, High Court and before Arbitrator in arbitration proceedings and other judicial, quasi judicial forum on behalf of RMK, for its Civil Suits, Execution Petitions, complaints under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and for such other cases as may be assigned to him from time to time as per requirement of RMK

(ii). He/she will draft all Petitions, civil suits, complaints, plaints, applications for filing on behalf of RMK in the aforesaid judicaial and quasi judical forum;

(iii). He/she will be responsible to engage Advocate to file Execution Petitions in various outstation District Court where Execution Petition may need to be filed for execution of decrees/arbitration awards, coordinate with the advocates, monitor these cases and report their progress .

(iv). He/she will give legal opinion, vet draft legal documents and handle such other assignment having legal implications, as may be assigned to him.

Eligibility:

Qualifications: He/she should possess Degree in Law from a recognised University; and

Experience: He/she should be Advocate having at least 5 years practice at the Bar on civil or criminal side or have at least 5 years experience in any judical service or legal service/post in any Government Department/PSU/Banks/Financial Institution.
