Applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) for appointment of Guest Faculty positions (Purely on temporary basis) in the Centre for Study of Foreign Languages for the semester July-Dec, 2018.

Essential Qualifications:
Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Masters degree level in the relevant subject i.e. M.A. in respective foreign language from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC wherever it is applicable. The candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from NET.
Note:
- 1. Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Masters level for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe category.
- 2. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed their Masters degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
- 3. B in the 7 point scale with the letter grade O, A, B, C, D, E & F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.

- 4. A relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG level from 55% for appointment as Guest Faculty may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by UGC/CSIR only, prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination were 50%.
As the above appointments are purely on temporary basis, the candidates will not have any right to claim for any regular appointment in the University.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining the post.
