Engagement as Consultant
The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is a Premier Autonomous Institute under Ministry of Power, Government of India, promoting applied research in the field on power. It has several laboratories throughout India and state-of-the art facilities for evaluation of electrical materials and performance of power equipment. It also acts as the National Level Testing & Certification Authority and is the apex body for initiating and coordinating Research and Development in Power sector. The Institute intends to engage Consultant (1 No.)
| Tenure | A initial tenure of assignment is for one year from the date of appointment, with provision for further extension of tenure based on the performance, if required by CPRI, at the sole discretion of CPRI |
| Qualification | Post Graduate in Engineering with Ph.D in |
| & Experience | Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Minimum experience of 20 years in the area of R&D Management |
| Job Profile | To help in R&D related matters, provide guidance/mentoring to JRF/SRF and PDFs working in the institute. Help CPRI officers by way of expert guidance in R&D, Testing and consultancy in the area of expertise. The candidature will have to give technical opinion on technical documents received at Corporate Head Office & at Divisions. |
| Remuneration | As per CPRI guidelines remuneration will be fixed between Rs. 50,000/to Rs. 80,000/based on the qualification and experience/pension details, if any. |
| Age | Not exceeding 65 years |
