Standard of Physical Fitness A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease. He should not be suffering from any disease, which is likely to be aggravated by service or is likely to render him unfit for service or to endanger of health of the public. He should be free from evidence of Tuberculosis in any form, active or healed.
The Candidates should have the following minimum standards:
Height 137cms and above
Weight 25.4 Kg and above
Chest measurement Expansion should not be less than 3.8 cms (irrespective of size of chest)
Vision There should be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye and the lids of either eye which may be liable to risk or aggravation or recurrence.
Note	Selected candidates should pass the Medical examination prescribed by the Competent Authority before being engaged as Trade Apprentices

The selection of apprentices will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in ITI.

7. General Conditions

a.	Candidates should submit duly filled application in the prescribed format only.
b.	Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Government or PSU or Private Industrial Organisation are not eligible to apply.
c.	Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the traning, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship. Those who absent themselves are liable to refund the whole cost of their traning as well as the amount received as stipend as determind by the Central Apprenticeship Advisor.
e.	Every Apprentice who has completed the period of traning will have to undergo a test to be conducted by the National Council for Training in vocational trade to determine his proficiency in the designated trade. Only on passing the test, a Certificate of Proficiency in the trade would be issued by the National Council.
f.	The engagement and training are stictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprentices Act 1961, and there is no obligation for employment of the Apprentices on Completion of their training.
g.	The apprentice after completion of the training shall have no right to claim any employment in NPCIL.
h.	Police verification certificate: NPCIL, Rajasthan Rawatbhata Site being highly protected area. Apprentices will be engaged only after submission of Police Verification issued by District Police Authorities. In addition, the apprentice needs to submit Character/Conduct Certificate from the concerned Institution.
i.	The applications received after the due date will be rejected and No further communication in this regard will be entertained.
j.	The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC(Non-Creamy layer) and 10 years for PWD.
