NOTIFICATION

The applications are invited for the following contractual post (purely) on temperary basis) in the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana project (RKVY) entitled " Irrigation Water Requirement A dvisory Service (IWRAS)" under Department or Irrigation and Drainage Engineering . Dr. A. S.College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology , Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri. This project has the mandates to develop the knowledge data base and so ftware and website apps for providing the ad visory service for estimating irrigation, water requirement of different crops by different methods. The details of the contractual post. to be filled-in purely on temporary basis. are as under:

Terms and Conditions:

I. Appointment is of purely on temporary basis and for six months subjected to the termination on closing of / termination of RKVY project. The candidature of the candidate will be cancelled at any time without giving reason(s) thereof.

1. The selected candid ate will be required to give an undertaking that he/she will not leave the

   assignment half way and shall complete the work in the prescribed time limit. In thi s regards the candidateselected for the post will have to execute bond on stamp paper of Rs. I00/- as per university rules.

2. The selection committee will interview online eligible candidates. The applicants will have to appear for the inter view on scheduled date and time at their own cost.

3. If candidates are more, written test will be taken for screenin g the candidates and after screening selected candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee.

4. The selected candidates will have to work at "Rashtriya Krishi vikas Yojana" under Department of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Dr. A. S. College of Agril. Engin eering & Technology. MPKY, Rahuri or within its jurisdiction in the field /laboratory and office, as per the mandate of the project, at MPKV. Rahuri. for the entire term as full time worker and they will not be allowed to accept any other appointment/assignment during this period.

5. The notification does not mean that all the posts will be necessarily filled. The discretio nary power will rest with the Sele ct ion Committee constitute d for the purp ose.

6. The appointment of the selected candidate for the said post shall be a tenure appointment and purely on temporary basis (six months) and likely to be terminated at any time without assigning an) reason there of and candidate shall not have any right of claiming permanency benelit of the said post or such posts by virtue of this appointment.

7. Actual working place of t he candidate will be Central Campus, MPKY, Rahuri. However, as a part or duty, the candidate will have to perform field, research, extension and office duties besides the,work of survey. demonstrations on farmer' s fields, training programmes, etc.
