INDO FRENCH CENTRE FOR THE PROMOTION OF ADVANCED RESEARCH

(IFCPAR/CEFIPRA)

Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA) is the bilateral Centre of cooperation between India & France established in 1987 and is based in New Delhi. The Centre is jointly funded by the Indian and the French Governments and its mandate is to promote collaborative research between the two countries in cutting edge Science, Technology & Innovation.

Under the programme TDB-CEFIPRA-Bpifrance, applications are invited for the temporary post of Scientific Associate as per following details:

Pay & Allowances: Consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- p.m. As per agreement

between TDB & CEFIPRA

To be appointed on deputation/contractual basis for one year. The contract may be renewed as per performance/requirement

Essential Qualifications

i. Ph.D. in science from a recognized university for candidates with first class

Masters Degree

ii. Five years experience in project management after obtaining PhD

Desirable Qualifications

i. Additional Post-Doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s)

ii Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence Tools/Data

Management

iii. Management and scientific communication skills (verbal & written)

iv. Experience in handling International Collaboration v. Familiar with S&T ecosystem in India and France

Job Requirement

i. The Scientific Associate will be reporting to the Director, CEFIPRA and will be responsible for the implementation of the TDB-CEFIPRA-Bpifrance programme of CEFIPRA

ii. He/She will do all liason work between TDB and CEFIPRA

iii. Any other job assigned by the Director, CEFIPRA

Age Limit as on 31.08.2016: Preferably below 45 years

Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows:

i.Since the post is purely temporary for one year and contract is likely to beextended on the basis of annual performance for 2 more years, theincumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments inCEFIPRA or continuation of his/her services in CEFIPRA

ii.Benefits of Provident Fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc.are not applicable

ii.Age relaxation maximum upto 5 years will be considered for deservingcandidates on the recommendation of selection committee

iii.No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview

iv.Qualification and experience should be from a recognized organizationv.Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
