Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, Panchkula invites applications for engagement of the following Consultants:-

1. CONSULTANT (TEHNICAL)

The person who has retired from the post of Director/Engineer-in-Chief/Chief Engineer in an organization concerning generation/ transmission/ distribution of power and having qualifications, experience in generation/transmission/distribution of electricity and Electricity Regulatory issues for engagement as Consultant (Technical) initially for a period of one year. The applicant should not be more than 64 years of age as on the date of the publication of advertisement. The Consultant (Technical) will be required to assist the Commission by providing his expert views on technical matters regarding determination of annual revenue requirement, Capex requirements, fixation of tariff, power purchase agreements, monitoring performance of generation, transmission and distribution companies and any other work assigned by the Commission from time to time. The Consultant shall be paid a fixed remuneration @ Rs.65,000/- per month or as revised by the Commission from time to time subject to his/her satisfactory performance and good health and the payment of remuneration shall be made by the Commission after deduction of tax at source in accordance with law for the time being in force.

2. CONSULTANT (FINANCE)

The persons having qualifications of regular B.Com with 65% marks and Chartered Accountant with two years experience for engagement as Consultant (Finance) initially for a period of one year. The applicant should not be more than 64 years of age as on the date of the publication of advertisement. The Consultant shall be paid a fixed remuneration @ Rs.35,000/- per month and the payment of remuneration shall be made after deduction of tax at source as per law.

Nature of work will be performed by the Consultant (Finance) is as under:-

1. Pre- audit of bills related to salary / pension, procurement and works related expenditure.

2. Preparation of balance sheet, income and expenditure and receipt and payment accounts.

3. Filling of income tax return and the calculation of tax liability of the employees.

4. Preparation of TDS returns of the Commission on quarterly basis.

5. Preparation of budget estimates of the Commission.

6. Determination of ARR and tariff setting and related work.

7. FSA/Additional Surcharge /Cross Subsidy Surcharge determination.
