NOTICE

Inviting onllne application for the post of Village Resource Person (VRP) to conduct Social Audit in eleven Development Blocks under Murshidabad District which is purely on temporary work basis(depend on work available).

This is to notify that as per the order no: 1186(40)SAU/0/3S-14/2015 Dated- 11/05/2017 from The Director of Social Audit Unit, West Bengal, applications are invited for the post of Village Resource Person (VRP) for conducting Social Audit for the FY 2017-18 of eleven Development Blocks namely Beldanga-11, Bhagabangola-1, Bhagabangola-11, Lalgola, Murshidabad-Jiaganj, Raghunathganj-1, Raninagar-11, Sagardighi, Samserganj, Suti-1 and Suti-11 under Murshidabad District Social Audit Unit, WBSRDA under Govt. of West Bengal, Panchayats & Rural Development Department .

Necessary criteria for application:

1. Willing candidates should be permanent resident & voter of the Block she/he applied for.

2. Should be youth and above 18 years old and not more than 35 years old as on 01/01/2017.

3. Should be 10th pass or above.

4. Should have worked in MGNREGS or have family members who have worked under MGNREGS.

5. Should have JOB CARD under MGNREGA in her/his family.

6. Should not be related to PRI representatives, Supervisors/ mates and other officials of implementing agencies.

Following Preferences will be given:

1. Village Resource Persons (i.e. Social Audit Volunteers) who have gained experiences over the year in the field of Social Audit, if satisfies the aforementioned criterion, may be given preferences.

2. Youth women from Self Help Groups, cluster at GP level, Community based Organizations may be given preference.

3. Should preferably be a women and/or belonging to the SC/ST community.

Functioning Area:

The engaged Village Resource Persons (VRPs) may facilitate Social Audit of any Gram Panchayat of their own Block excluding the one of which she/he is resident of.

Related Information:

• The online applications are invited from the unemployed youth having minimum qualification as per given criteria.

• The Selection Committee/District Social Audit Unit will select VRPs through interview along with a test to assess their reading, writing & analytical skill.

• The Panel of the successful candidates will be valid for two consecutive financial years (i.e., 2017-18 & 2018-19) .

• The number of VRPs to be engaged in a particular Gram Panchayat will depend on the need and to be assessed by the District Social Audit Unit.

o Remuneration for a working day for the engaged VRPs should not exceed the wage of a skill

labour under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).

o Decision of the selection committee will be final.

o The engagement will be purely on temporary basis (as and when required) and no claim will be consider for permanent post in future.

o The Successful candidates will be engaged as Village resource Person (VRP) not more thari 15 (Fifteen) days in each Social Audit Period of a Financial Year.

o No TA, DA will be provided for the selection process.

  3. Note down the auto generated Application Number and download the call later for interview after submission of the form from the given link.

• Downloaded Application form and self attested documents mentioned in call letter for interview along with originals to be submitted to the authority during verification .
• Final list for selected candidates, date and venue of training for the selected VRPs will be ublished on 23rd june, 2017 at www.murshidabad.nic.in or www.saumsd.in and also be available at District Social Audit Unit Office (Currently at DOMA Office, Minority Bhavan, Berhampore, Murshidabad) Notice Board, Concerned BOO Office Notice Board .
