VACANCY CIRCULAR

Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC), a statutory body, invites applications for filling up one post of Dy. Secretary for the office of Electricity Ombudsman on deputation/transfer, on Foreign Service terms from the concerned organizations or on contract basis from the open market. The details of post like scale of pay, requisite qualifications/ qualifying service and experience etc, are as under:-

1. A Graduate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
2. 10 years of Engineering Experience in distribution Utilities.
3. Strong Computer literacy and skills should include demonstrated capabilities in analytical modeling and database management.
4. Should be capable of independently working in computers.

Additional Desirable Qualification

(a) Post Graduate Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or MBA in Power Management from a recognized University.
(b) Experience in operation and maintenance of distribution system including commercial aspects of distribution (metering, billing and collection etc). system.
(c) Familiarity with Electricity Laws.

2. For candidates seeking appointment on Deputation basis

Applicants who are willing may forward their application through proper channel along with the following documents/ certificates by 30th May, 2018.

1. Photocopies of the ACRs of the applicants for the last ten years duly attested by an officer.
2. Certificate to the effect that no vigilance enquiry is pending against the concerned official.
3. Certificate to the effect that no penalty has been imposed during the last ten years on the candidate official.
4. Certificate to the effect that the integrity of the official remained above Board during the last ten years.
3. For candidates seeking appointment on contract basis:

The age of a person to be appointed on contract basis shall not be more than 62 years at the time of recruitment and will be paid Rs.55000/- per month as consolidated remuneration. The retired person to be appointed on contract basis shall be paid last pay drawn minus pension as remuneration per month. The initial appointment is for one year which can be extended by the Competent Authority but not beyond the age of 65 years in case of outstanding performance of the person concerned provided he is medically declared fit by the Medical Authority. Applications in simple plain paper giving complete details of qualifications and experience along with attested photocopies of all relevant documents in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, etc. may be sent to the Secretary, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, Bays No.33-36, Sector-4, Panchkula by 30th May, 2018.
