Subject: Appointment to the post of Managing Director, Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project Authority, Bhutan-regarding.

Sir, I am directed to say that Ministry of Power, on behalf of Ministry of External Affairs, is seeking qualified candidates for the post of Managing Director, Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project Authority (PHPA-II), Bhutan, a project being implemented under Inter Government Agreement (IGA) between Government of India and Royal Government of Bhutan. A copy of the Company Profile & Job Description for the post is enclosed.

2. The post of MD, PHPA-II carries enormous responsibilities. The post has, therefore, to be filled by a senior and an eminent candidate fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:

• The applicant must be a serving employee of a Central/State PSU not below the rank of General Manager.
  
  
• The applicant should possess adequate experience in Project Management of Hydro Electric Projects. (minimum 3 years)
  
  
• The applicant should be clear from vigilance angle.
  
  

1. The terms and conditions during service on deputation with the Royal Government of Bhutan shall be governed by MEA's Circular No. E-IV/SS1/9/2001 dated 21.11.2001, and MEA's latest circular dated 17 May 2016 regarding revision of Bhutanese Compensatory Allowance.
   
   
2.
