Advertisement for the post of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow with a Fellowship amount of Rs. 25,000/- p.m. in a NASI, Allahabad Sponsored Project entitled, Study of Properties and Interactions of Biomolecules and Other Molecules Including Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons as Finite Size Graphene Models sanctioned upto April 30, 2019. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should be (essential qualifications) NET/GATE or equivalent or M.Sc. Physics with Spectroscopy or Biophysics specialization and at least 55% marks. The upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Desirable qualifications: Experience of working on biomolecules using quantum chemical methods.
