Applications are invited in the prescribed format for filling up of positions of Project Assistant-II on a purely temporary basis. The detail of the sponsored project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under:

Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications/experience(2)	MSc/MTech/ME in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Computer Science /Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering And/OR BE/BTech/BPharm in Bioinformatics/Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication Engineering And/OR MBBS/MBA OR Equivalent with minimum of 55% marks
Desirable Experience	Knowledge in Programming / Coding (Java/Python/Go/Google TensorFlow, SciPy, Object Oriented Programming) Modelling, Simulation, Image Analysis, Systems biology, Project Experience/Algorithm development
Age limit	30 years, with five years relaxation for statutory groups and women as per government rules
Job requirement	Theoretical & Computational Biology, Biochemical Pathway Modelling, Data Analysis; Designing, developing, testing and releasing; Coordination with internal team for the task and to do tracking, SLA management;
Consolidated fixed emoluments per month	Rs. 25000/per month and/or as per CSIR OM No.4/CMG/2016-PPD dated July 4, 2016

The engagement will be initially for a period of six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

The prescribed educational qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this Notice of appointment is large, it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the advertisement. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.
