Central Electronics Limited is a Govt. of India Enterprise under Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology. It was established in 1974 with an objective to commercially exploit the indigenous technologies developed by National Laboratories and R&D Institutions in the country. CEL has developed a number of products for the first time in the country through its own R&D efforts and in close association with the premier National & International Laboratories including Defence Laboratories.

Currently, CEL operates in four prime business verticals, viz. Solar Photovoltaic (SPV), Railway Signalling System, Strategic Electronics, Security and Surveillance Group (SSG). Based on short term and long term goals of CEL the aim is to increase market presence across multiple regions in India. CEL has acquired major projects in the solar and defence business. 1 Assistant General Manager/Chief Manager (SSG) (01 Post -UR) Grade E7/ E6 The candidate will be responsible for development of CEL's Security and Surveillance business including Marketing & Execution. The candidate should have B.E./ B.Tech. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognized Institute/ University with good academic record. He/she should have 16 years post qualification work experience in the field of Project management, Business development, IT & Telecommunication, Data center, Video conferencing, Security, Surveillance, System Integration etc. *Post qualification experience will be 14 years for Chief Manager (SSG)
2 Chief Manager ( QA-C) (01 Post -UR) Grade E6 The candidate shall head the quality assurance team, covering all aspects of quality, including materials inprocess inspection as well as project quality assurance, & related certifications. The candidate should have B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Institute / University. He/she should have minimum 14 Years post qualification experience in Quality Control. Preference will be given to candidate from Electronics Industry, who are working on ERP System.
3 Senior Technical Manager (Production) Manufacturing (01 Post -UR) Grade E5 The candidate will be responsible for Operation of Automated Production Line, including implementation of modern production methods and processes, Quality Control, Planning etc. The candidate should have first class B.E./B.Tech. (Electronics/ Production Engg/ Mechanical degree from a recognized Institute/ University with good academic record. MBA Degree in Production Management is desirable. He/she should have 12 years post qualification work experience with minimum 02 years experience in running a Modern Production Line and should have handled Planning, Quality Assurance of a production line. Capability for preparation of MIS is also required. Experience in Solar Photovoltaic Industry/ Electronics preferred.
4 Project Manager (Project Execution/ O&M) (02 -Post)-(01 UR and 01 OBC) Grade E4 The candidate shall function as techno-commercial project Manager for Solar PV/ Renewable energy projects and will be responsible for planning, Implementing, tracking, controlling, execution Operation & Maintenance and evaluating multiple projects with specified deliverables. Day to day handling of EPC contractors and the sub-contractors, maintaining relationship with the clients/ project stake holders. Monitor the progress of the project to ensure the succesfull timely completion of the projects as per the KRAs/ Target agreed. The candidate should have B.E./ B.Tech. degree with minimum 55% marks in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering. He should have minimum 09 years of post qualification experience in implementing projects, out of which minimum 06 years experience in project execution and management. The incumbent should be proficient in the use of computer applications. Desirable: 1) Experience in implementing projects for Govt. Organisations in the area of Solar/ Renewable Energy, Electrical Power plants and Solar Water Pumps, Mini/ Micro Grid, Village Electrificaton 2)Hands on experince of integration of contractors and sub-contractors, Maintaining relationship with clients/ project stake holders by providing progress updates, information and guidance. 3) Certificate/ Training in project management, implementation of projects on EPC/ RESCO/ PPA basis in solar energy,
5 Technical Manager (R&D) (01 Post -UR) Grade E4 The candidate shall be responsible for design, development and up gradation of electronic products and also new product development, for Railway signaling and Telecom. The candidate should have B.E/ B.Tech. degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engg. with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Institute / University. He/ She should have minimum 09 years of post qualification experience in design and sound knowledge of Embedded systems 08/16/32 bit, x86/ RISC/ ARM Processor, FPGA, HDL (VHDL or veriog). The candidate should have hands on experience in design & testing methodology on above platforms. Experience of latest development tools, debugger, Emulators etc.
6 Manager -Material Management (02 Post -UR) Grade E4 The candidate shall be responsible for handling of procurement/ inventry control, Vender development, vendor performance monitoring etc. The candidate should have B.E./ B.Tech. degree with minimum 55% marks OR Should be a Graduate with 55% Marks and MBA/PGDM/PGP, preferebly in Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management from a recognised Institute / University. The candidate should have 09 Years of relevant post qualification experience.
7 Assistant Manager (Civil) (01 Post -UR) Grade E3 The candidate shall be responsible for Preparation of tenders, award of contract, supervisions of works related to Industrial Buildings, Sheds, Roads, Overhead Water Tanks, Pipe lines and other civil structures required in an Industrial establishment. The Candidate should have B.E/B.Tech degree with minimum 55% marks in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute/ University. He/ She should have minimum 06 years of post qualification experience in execution of civil works.
8 Assistant Manager (Accounts) (02 Posts -UR) Grade E3 The candidate shall be responsible for preparation of MIS, periodical profit & loss accounts and balance sheet, interaction with statutory auditors of CAG and other Govt. agencies. The candidate should be a graduate in commerce and passed final examination of CA/ICWA with 06 years post qualification experience in preparation and finalization of profit & loss accounts and balance sheet, interaction with statutory auditors, internal auditors, CAG and other Govt. agencies. Working experience in ERP System is essential. The candidate should have sound knowledge of taxation & GST.
9 Accounts Officer (01 Posts -UR) Grade E2 The candidate shall be responsible for preparation of MIS, periodical profit & loss accounts and balance sheet, interaction with statutory auditors of CAG and other Govt. agencies. The candidate should be a graduate in commerce and passed final examination of CA/ICWA with 02 years post qualification experience in preparation of MIS, periodical profit & loss accounts and balance sheet, interaction with statutory auditors of CAG and other Govt. agencies. 10 Security Officer (01 Post -UR) Grade E2 The candidate will be responsible to coordinate the security team's activities, including scheduling of shifts and training of the security personnel. He has to ensure that all the daily security operations run smoothly and effectively and ensure effective control and maintenance of security & fire equipments. The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline, He/ She should have served in the rank of JCO with minimum 15 years of service in defense/ Paramilitary forces. Diploma in fire/safety is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Industrial security and fire safety.
11 Deputy Engineer (R&D) (01 Post -UR) Grade E2 The candidate shall be responsible for design, development and up gradation of electronic products and also new product development, for Railway signaling and Telecom. The candidate should have B.E/ B.Tech. degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engg. with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Institute / University. He/ She should have minimum 06 years of post qualification experience in design and sound knowledge of Embedded based hardware & software systems. The candidate shall have sound and hands on experience in designing, testing of analog and digital based design with knowledge of working on CPLD/ FPGA etc.
12 Sr. Manager New Product Development (Contract Basis) (01 -Post) Grade -E5 The candidate shall be in-charge for New Product Development in the area of Solar/ Renewable Energy and will be responsible for Leading the organisation in research for new products, product enhancements and product redesign. Originate new products in concernd with customer needs and business model. Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects. Plan and formulate aspects of research and development proposals The candidate should have B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electrical/ Electronics and Communication/ Mechanical Engineering. He/ She should have minimum 12 years of post qualification experience in Product Design and Development in the area of Solar/ Renewable Energy and Solar Water Pumps in a recognized R&D Center or scientific laboratory.
13 Manager (Defence Marketing) (Contract basis) (01-Post) Grade -E4 The candidate shall be responsible for: 1) Exploring new business opportunities in terms if segments and products for CEL. 2) Liaison with Indian Armed Forces, Para Military Forces for promulgating the products of CEL. 3) Identifying the Qualitative requirements/ specifications from customers, articulating the customer projects and requirements. 4) Gather inputs on Industry trends, customer existing and future needs and disseminate information to the relevant channels within CEL. The candidate should have B.E./B.Tech degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks. He/she should have minimum 09 years of post qualification experience in Indian Defence Forces. Relevant Experience and knowledge of products/ systems required by the defence forces and with an aptitude and knowledge of sound business management practices and procedures. In addition to flair for Marketing, the candidate must possess high level initiatives and excellent communication skills.
14 Marketing Manager (Contract basis) (02-Posts) Grade -E4 The candidate shall be responsible for developing marketing strategies to increase market share of CEL and bring orders related for all types of solar Power Projects, create and develop all activities related to marketing, ability to understand the techno-commercial aspects related to Solar Marketing. The candidate should have B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ PV Technology Engineering with minimum 55% marks and 02 years MBA in Marketing from a recognised Institute / University. He/she should have minimum 09 Years post qualification experience in the field of Solar Marketing.
15 Assistant Technical Manager (P) Manufacturing/ Maintenance) (Contract basis) (02 Posts) Grade -E3 The candidate shall be responsible for production and Maintenance activities of Solar Photovoltaic modules and development of solar power solutions etc. The candidate should have B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university. He/ she should have 06 years post qualification experience out of which 04 years experience in Production, preferably in the field of Solar Photovoltaic module manufacturing (preferably automated line), testing of the bill of materials used in the solar module manufacturing (in-house/ external agency), in-process and finished goods inspection, defect analysis, preventing and breakdown maintenance and manpower management . He/ She should have hands on experience in PLC and computer controlled Automatic Production Machines. Desirable:-The candidate should have experience of 2-3 years in Solar PV Manufacturing Industry and knowledge of best maintenance practices as Preventive Maintenance, autonomous maintenance,
16 Officer -Material Management (Contract basis) (02-Posts) Grade -E2 The candidate shall be responsible for handling of procurement/ inventory control, Vender development, vendor performance monitoring etc. The candidate should have B.E./ B.Tech. degree with minimum 55% marks OR Should be a Graduate with 55% Marks and MBA/PGDM/PGP, preferably in Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management from a recognised Institute / University. The candidate should have 02 Years of relevant post qualification experience.
17 Officer (HR) (on contract) (01-Post) Grade -E2 The candidate shall be required to handle Performance Management System, Manpower Planning, Career/Succession planning, Employee Retention, Transfer and Establishment matters. The candidate should be a Graduate with minimum 55% marks along with MBA/PGP/PGDM in Personnel Management/Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification. He/she should have minimum 02 years of post qualification experience in HR/IR functions. Degree in Law is desirable.
18 Marketing Officer (on contract) (10 -Posts) The candidate shall be responsible for identifying business opportunity prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales option, Developing relationship with prospects so as to follow on the submitted proposals, maintaining relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, closure of orders in a time bound manner as per the KRAs/ Target agreed, keep track of projects execution and delay so that timely corrective actions may be taken, liaisioning during execution and follow up for payment The candidate should be Engineering graduate with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. Preference will be given to those who have passed MBA in Sales/ Marketing. Fluency in Hindi & English is mandatory, proficiency in the computer is must. The candidate should have over 04 years post qualification experience in Sales and Marketing preferably selling to Government organisations in the area of IT Hardware & Software, Networking and Security Surveillance Solutions.

  1. The upper age limit, in case of ex-servicemen, shall be as per extant instructions of the Government of India.

  2. In respect of PwD candidates, the minimum percentage of disability should be 40% or above and they would have to submit latest disability certificate, issued by the Medical Board/Competent authority.
