Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Project assistant in a SERB-funded research project with following details:

Title of the project: Investigation of the functional roles of the RNA polymerase I transcription factor complex selectivity factor 1 by CRISPR/Cas9 assisted genome engineering.

Name of the position: Project assistant (01 No), available immediately.

Essential qualifications: MSc Biochemistry/Lifesciences/Biotech/Microbiology, MTech (Biotech), M.Pharma, M.V.Sc and other life science related subjects; with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10). For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 grade points on a scale of 10) in masters degree.

Candidates who are in final year of Qualifying Degree with required eligibility can also apply. However, such candidates have to submit their provisional certificate on or before joining

Age limit: Must not be more than 28 years as on closing date of application (relaxation as per the norms/ orders of GOI).

Salary: As per SERB norms

Duration: Three years or up to the termination of project, subject to annual performance review
