In case of OBC the 4 posts are split as 3 + 1 (backlog)

One of the positions is reserved for physically challenged persons. Visually Handicapped candidates need not apply.

Duration of Training : ONE YEAR

System Administrator*

Minimum Qualification : MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science), BE/BTech in any one of the following Disciplines:

Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, and Telecommunication

Stipend : Rs. 15,000/- per month (Consolidated).

• General / OBC Candidates must have passed with a First Class.
• SC/ST candidates with a Second Class will also be considered.
• Candidates who have completed their qualifying examinations and who have been awarded the degree as on the date of advertisement only should apply.

Skills Required : Knowledge of C programming and UNIX are required.

Job Description : Trainees are exposed to advanced computing systems in a networked environment and on-job training in operation and administration of such systems is imparted. Trainees are expected to work in any of the three shifts including night shifts and holidays.

Application Fee : Rs 150/- for GM,OBC and Rs. 75/- for SC ( No DD for PH candidates)

DD should be drawn in favour of The Registrar,Indian Institute of Science, payable at Bangalore
