Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad is earliest among the 3rd group of IITs, announced in 2014 by the Govt.of India. IITPalakkad started functioning with the support of its mentoring institute, IIT Madras from the academic year of 2015-16.The academic program was launched by admitting students in the B.Tech course in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
At the Gateway of Kerala, adjacent to the Sahyamountains and within a few kilometers from the Palakkad railway junction,in about a 500 acre land is planned the permanent Campus of IIT Palakkad. As of now, the Institute is functioning at the Ahalia integrated campus near Walayarand is already equipped to meet all the needs of the students, faculty and staff.

For all posts listed above CANDIDATES ON DEPUTATION from public sector/government/autonomous institutes may apply. Govt.of India rules on deputation will be applicable in such cases.

The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the test /
interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience
higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
The procedure of selection to each of the posts will be informed to the
shortlisted candidates along with the admit card for selection test / interview call
letter.
Application Fee: There will be an application fee of Rs.100/(Rupees one hundred only). Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and persons with disabilities (PwD) are exempted from payment of Application Fee. The candidates may transfer the Application Fee through the payment portal of the Online Application.The candidates desirous of applying for more than one post, must apply for each post along with application fee of Rs.100/separately
