Applications are invited from Doctor(Allopathic)who have retired from ESIC/Govt. Services for 01 No. post of Medical Officer purely on contract basis. Duly filled application form should reach this office (format enclosed).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of one year initially and extendable periodically on yearly basis as decided by the competent authority subject to satisfactory work & conduct but not beyond the age of 65 years or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
   
   
2. The authority reserves the right to terminate the appointee by giving a seven days notice or paying remuneration for 7 days in lieu of notice, any time during the tenure even without assigning any reason or for failure to perform assigned duties to the satisfaction of the competent Authority.
   
   
3. The consolidated remuneration will be Rs. 60,000/-per month. The consolidated remuneration mentioned is subjected to revision i.e. enhanced/reduced in accordance with revised orders issued by CGHS. The remuneration will commence from the date of reporting to duty at the place of posting.
   
   
4. The appointee shall perform not to be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, Leave encashment etc. or any other benefits available to the ESIC doctors appointed on regular basis. No other allowances or monetary benefits in any form shall be admissible.
   
   
5. The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to him/her by the competent Authority. It reserves the right to assign any duties as and when required. No extra/additional allowance will be admissible in case of such assignment.
   
   
6. Private practice is strictly prohibited.
   
   
7. The appointee shall be entitled for leave @ 2.5 days for every completed month which is liable to be lapsed , if accumulated, at the end of tenure(Six Month).
   
   
8. Under normal circumstances no long leave at a stretch shall be admissible. No leave shall be regularized if availed without prior permission.
   
   
9. This is full time appointment, hence the appointee shall not accept any other appointment paid or otherwise.
   
   
10. The appointment shall be engaged in any ESIC Dispensaries under SSMC, NER and he/she shall be functioning under the control of SSMC, NER in which he/she is engaged.
    
    
11. An declaration given or information furnished by the appointee if found to be false or if any material, information is informed to be suppressed then the appointee shall be liable for termination from contractual appointment without prejudice to such other action by the Government as deemed necessary.
    
    
12. The contractual appointment and continuation thereof, if any shall be governed exclusively by the terms & Conditions stated herein above.
    
    
13. Appointee has to appear in front of Medical Board constituted by SSMC, NER & he/she has to be medically fit before joining.
