Applications are invited by the Officer in Charge, Transport Section, JIPMER, Pondicherry-6 from eligible Candidates for the post of Drivers Purely on Contract Basis under Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS).

I. CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY

1. Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

2. Crucial date for determining the age limit: Age will be reckoned as on 10.04.2018.

3. Age Limit: Between 23 to 45 years as on 10.04.2018 which is the last date for receipt of duly filled in application. Age limit is relaxable for applicants belonging to the categories of OBC, SC/ST.

II. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

A. Educational / Technical Qualifications / Experience Required & Mode of Recruitment:

III. MODE OF SELECTION

Based on written test applicants will be scrutinized for skill test and driving test and interview will be conducted by competent authority.

How to Apply? Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned above may apply in the prescribed format appended (Annexure) along with the following Certificate/Enclosures:-

a) No Objection Certificate from the present employer must be provided, if employed in a State/Central Government/Union Territory/ Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body.

b) Recent self-attested Passport size Photograph affixed in application.

c) A Medical Fitness Certificate need to be produced by the applicant obtained from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

IV. TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The period of contractual engagement will be initially for a period of 40 days in respect of 5 Nos. of drivers and the extension will be granted if required for further periods.

The duly filled in application forms for the post should be superscripted on the envelope as APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER ON CONTRACT BASIS should be sent through the employer to reach The Officer in Charge, Transport Section, 2nd Floor, Administrative Block, JIPMER, Puducherry 605 006 on or before 25.04.2018.

2. After selection the contractually engaged person will be refer to M.S. Office for medical tests. If the contractually engaged persons are declared unfit then their selection will be cancelled with immediate effect.

3. The contractually engaged persons will not have any claim for permanent or regular employment in this Institute as this is purely a temporary contractual engagement under Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) and will remain valid up to contractual period for which the engagement is approved on each occasion or till the said scheme is continued, whichever is earlier.

4. The contractually engaged persons will not be eligible to get official accommodation/quarters allotment within the campus.

5. The contractually engaged persons shall in no case represent or give opinion or advice to others in any matter which is adverse to the interest of JIPMER.

6. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.

7. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.

8. The appointment is on full time basis and private work of any type is prohibited.
