The following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis (18 months) under the project entitled Neo AMR Global Neonatal Sepsis Observational Study (NEO OBS)" a DNDi/GARDP project at JIPMER, Pondicherry 605006.

1.Research Officer One Post

Salary: Rs 56,144/-pm consolidated Upper age limit: 35 yrs

Qualification: MBBS/MD with research experience in the relevant field.

2.Staff Nurses- Four Posts

Salary: Rs 31,500/-pm consolidated Upper age limit: 35 yrs

Qualification: BSc Nursing from a recognised university with research experience in the relevant field

3.SRF- One Post

Salary: Rs 36,400/-pm consolidated Upper age limit: 35 yrs

Qualification:

Post graduate Degree in Microbiology with research experience

Experience of working on automated systems for ID/AST/Molecular labs.

Knowledge of computer applications

4.Data Entry Operator- One Post

Salary: Rs 18,000/-pm consolidated Upper age limit: 35 yrs

Qualification: Graduate from a recognised university with knowledge of computer applications and experience in Data entry.

5.Lab Technician- One Post

Salary: Rs 18,000/-pm consolidated Upper age limit: 35 yrs

Qualification:

B. Sc MLT.

Must be able to work with automated systems such as Bactec, Vitek, tc.

Knowledge of computer applications

Notes:

Applicants with research experience, preferably in clinical trials would be desirable.

Tenure for all posts: 18 months

These posts are to be filled up on purely temporary and the appointment can be terminated with one-month notice from either side without assigning any reason.

Since the posts are purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments in JIPMER or continuation of his/her services in any other project, benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. is not applicable.

Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

A walk-in interview for the above mentioned posts will be held on 20th December 2018. The candidates must be present by 9 AM at Neonatology office, II floor JIPMER Women and Childrens Hospital. Candidates should bring with them (1) All certificates/testimonials in original (2) One attested copy each of the certificates (3) one copy of brief curriculum vitae (4) one passport size recent colour photograph and (5) Filled application form in the prescribed format

A screening written test may be held depending upon the number of candidates.

No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the walk-in-interview.
