Applications are invited by the HOD, Department of Medical Oncology, Puducherry 6 from candidates fulfilling the following eligibility conditions to work as Patient Navigator on contract basis at Day Care Centre, Dept. of Medical Oncology, Regional Cancer Centre, JIPMER in spells of 89 days with 1 day break in service between two spells of engagement.

Eligibility Conditions:

A. Essential:

1. B.Sc.(Nursing) with atleast 1 year experience

B. Desirable:

1. Trained in computer skills

2. Reasonably fluent in Tamil & English

C. Contractual Remuneration: Rs.20,000/- (consolidated) per month

D. Other terms and conditions:

1. The engagement is purely on contract basis only

2. The engagement may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Director

3. This engagement will not bestow upon the applicant to claim for any regularization / temporary status based on this engagement

4. Maximum age limit should not exceed 30 years

5. Women candidates will be preferred

Candidates should be capable of:

1. Preparation and administration of chemotherapy drugs

2. Connect patients with resources and support systems

3. Facilitate interaction and communication with health care staff and providers

4. Streamline appointments and paperwork

5. Help patients arrive at scheduled appointments on time.

Interested and Eligible candidates may attend the Walk in Interview With written Screening Test to be held at 09.00AM on 10-09-2018 (Monday) at Dept. Of Medical Oncology, Super Speciality Block, III Floor, JIPMER, Puducherry-06 along with filled in application form, self attested copies of testimonials & Bio-Data.
