Applications in prescribed form are invited from citizens of lndia for filling up of 19 (nineteen) posts of Assistant Professor for the Govt, Law College of Arunachal Pradesh in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 6000/-per month plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt, Employees from time to time. Vacancy position is subject to variation.

2. AGE:

(i) Candidates appearing for post of Assistant Professor must not be above 37 years of age as on 05.09.2018. However, the upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.

3. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

(l)

Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level (LL.M. & English) from an lndian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. However, there is a relaxation of 5% marks that is from 55% to 50% marks at Masters Degree level for the ST/SC candidates.

The candidate must have cleared the National EligibilityTest (NET) conducted bythe ucc, cslR or similar test accredited by the UGC like sLET/sET,

(iii) Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the

hiversity Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2609, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NETISLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/lnstitutions,

4. _. METHOD OF SELECTION: The eligible candidates will have to appear in _an lnterview/Viva-Voce test to be conducted by the Commission at ltanagar or any _other place, which may be decided by the Commission.

7, HOW T0 APPLY: Along with the duly filled up Application form and Attendance sheet, candidates must enclose the following documents, other wise the application will be rejected summarily.

Self-attested copies of certificates and mark-sheets issued by the Registrar/Assistant Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain marks a nd educational qualification.

2(two) copies of recent pass-port size photographs with self-attestation in the front side of which one should be pasted on the space provided in the Application form and another on the Attendance sheet,

^{(iii) Self-attested copy of APST Certificate for APST candidate and PRC/EPIC/Aadhar Card for others,}

Self-attested copy of Matriculation Certificate for proof of Age issued _{by the Board} only will be accepted.

Enclose original copy of DDIIPO of Rs. 100/-for APST candidates and Rs. 1"50/-for others.

(vi)

NOC/lntimation letter(self-attested) for those who are in regular Govt. service.

LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION: The last date for receiving of applicatlon form by the Commission is upto 05.09.2018 till 4 PM. Application form received after closing date will not be accepted under any circumstances.

9. OTHER RULES :.

a.,

^{(i) The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or other wise of a candidate for admission to the interview or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.}

(ii) Candidates already in service may apply direct to this Commission with intimation to his/her Head of employer for doing so.

(iii) Application in the prescribed form should be submitted in the Recepti.on Counter in a Cover/Envelope superscibed "Application for the post of Assistant Professor (Faculty of Law/Faculty of English" as the case may be and obtain receipt from the counter to ensure his/hersubmission of application form.

(iv)

The Commission will not be responsible for delay in receipt of application due to any reasoh whatsoever.

(v)

Application form can also be sent "To the Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, ltanagar-7gtLtt (AP)" through registered post/courier and should reach the Commission before 4 P.M. on 05.09.2Q18

(vi)

Application form not fulfilling the terms and conditions as stipulated in the

advertisement will be reiected.
