⁾ Age:-

A candidate must have attained 18 year _{of age and should not be more than 30 year of age as on 14'06.2018. However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5(five) years for ApST and}

^{another 5(five) years for regular Arunachal pradesh Govt. Employees.}

3' Educational qualification:-_{A candidate must possess a Bachelor of Library Sciencefrom a recognized University. However, candidates who have akeady appeared in final examination of the qualifying degree course and awaiting result shall also be eligible to apply.}

^{Such candidates who are} declared to have qualified by the Commission in the _{written competitive}^{examination will have} to produce original certificates or mark-sheets _{of passing their degree^{examination issued} by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice}

^{chancellor of the concerned university on or before the date of Interview/viva-voce. without the original certificate/mark-sheet they _{shall not be allowed to appear in the Viva-voce.}}

4. Method of Selection

^{The eligible candidate} will have to appear in written examination in the following subjects followed by viva-voce test to be conducted by the _{Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission} atltanagar on the basis of which Selection _{will be finalized.}

(i)

General English _{= 100 marks}

(ii)

General Knowledge _{= 100 marks}

^{(iii) Library& Information Sc.(Paper-I) = 100 marks}

(iv)

Library& Information Sc.@aper-Il) 100 marks

(v)

Viva-Voce Test

50 marks

Total :-*450 _Mu.k,

The candidates who secure a minimum _{of 33oh or more marks in each written examination paper and 45o/o or more marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for viva-voce test. On the other hand, it will further mean that selection for viva-voce test shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination papers subject to ratio 1:3. The candidates securing less than 33yo}

of marks in any of written examination paper shall not be eligible for _{appearing in the vivavoce test.}

^{Note : The} Commission will adopt Recruitment Test (Objective type) before _the written examination if it is deemed necessary _{to do so.}

5. How to Applv :-

^Along with the dully filled-up format, candidates must enclose the following documents _otherwise the application will be rejected.

Self attested copy of Matriculation Certificate for Proof of _{Age issued by the Board/University only will be accepted.}

⁽ⁱ⁾

Self attested copies of Certificates and Marksheets of Bachelor Degree _{issued by the} Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor

of the ooncerned University to ascertain educational qualification.

^{(iii) 2(two) copies of recent pass-port size photographs self attested in _{the front side of which one should be pasted on the space provided in the application form and another on the Attendance Sheet.}}

(iv)

^{Self attested copy of Arunachal} Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate.

(v)

No Objection Certificate/Intimation letter in case of _{candidates already in service.}

^(vi)

^{Copy of Demand} Draft/IPO (For those application form other than obtained _from Commission's Office).

^{Last date for receivins of 4pplication.}

The last date for receiving of application form by the Commission is up to 14.06.201g

tiil 4 PM.

7. Other Rules:

^{(i) The} decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for

^{admission to the interview} or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.

(ii) Candidates already in _{service may apply direct to this Commission with intimation to his/her present employer for doing so.}

(iii) Application in prescribed form along with _{necessary documents should be submitted in the Reception counter in a cover/envelope superscribed, "Application for the post of District Librarv & Information Officer" and obtain receipt from the counter to ensure his/her submission of application form. Application should be addressed to Secretary,}

APPSC Itanagar,Arunachal pradesh.

The Commission will _{not be responsible for delay in receipt of application due to any reason whatsoever.}
