ADVERTISEMENT

Applications are invited in prescribed format from the citizens of lndia for filling up of 1 (one) posi of Principal for Govt. Colleges Law College of Arunachal Pradesh in the Pay Band-4 Rs. 37400-57000+Academic Grade Pay (AGP) Rs. 10000/-and Special Allowances of Rs.2000/(Pre-Revised) per month plus other allowances as admissible to Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees

from time to time. The lone post is un-reserved (open competition). The vacancy position and reservation

is subject to variation.

(r) AGE: The maximum age limit of the candidate for the post is 55 years as on 03-05-2018.

(il) EDU CATI 9NAL QUALI FICAI oN :

(1)
Master's Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed by a recognized University. However, relaxation of 5% of marks shall be allowed for the candidates of Scheduled Tribes.
(2)
A Ph.D. Degree in Law from a recognized institution with evidence of published work and research guidance.
(3)
Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of 15(fifteen) years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
(4)
A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance lndicator(APl) based on Performance Based Appraisal System(PBAS), as set out in the Regulation in Appendix-lll for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges. (Candidates should obtain a copy of API score from concerned authority and enclose it with application form).

The term of appointment of the College Principal shall be five years with eligibility for reappointment for one more term only after a similar Selection Committee process which shall take into account an externa! peer review, its recommendation and its outcomes. The framework of the external peer review shall be as specified by the UGC.

(ilt) METHOD OF SELECTION:-

The eligible candidates will have to appear in an Interview/Viva-voce to be conducted by the Commission. The final selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of performance in the Interview/Viva-Voce.

Candidates called for the Interview shall have to appear at their own expenses.

(V) FEE: Rs.100 for APST candidates and Rs.150/-for others in the form of DD/IPO in favour of

Secretary, AP PSC, ltanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

(Vl) LA9T DATE FoR RECEIVING oF APPIICATION:-

The last date for receiving of application form by the Commission is up to 03-05-20,18.

(Vil) H9W TO APPLY: Along with the duly filled-up format, candidates must enclose the following

documents other wise the application will be rejected summarily.

(1)
Self-attested copies of certificates and mark-sheets of Class-X, Class-XII, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Ph.D. Degree issued by the Assistant RegistrarlRegistrar/Controller Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain marks and educational qualification
(2)
Experience Certificate (15 years) in teaching/research issued by competent authority.
(3)
Copy of API score finalized by the concerned Department and any other certificates, if any.
(4)
2(two) copies of recent pass-port size photographs with self-attestation in the front side of which one photograph should be pasted on the space provided in the Application form and another on the Attendance sheet.
(s)
Self-attested copy of APST Certificate for APST and PRC lBP[ClAadhaar Card for others.
(6)
Self-attested copy of Matriculation Certificate or equivalent for proof of age issued by the Board only will be accepted.
(7)
Enclose original copy of DD/IPO of Rs.100/-for APST candidates and Rs.150/-for others.
(8)
NOC/Intimation letter (self-attested) for those who are in regular Govt. service.
(e)
A11 supporting documents submitted by the candidates must be self-attested or by a Gazetted Officer other-wise the application will be rejected.

(V[D. LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION: The last date for receiving of application form by the Commission is up to 01-05-2018 till 4 PM. Application form received after closing date will not be accepted under any circumstances.

(tx) OTHER RULES:

(1)
The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or other-wise of a candidate for admission to the interview or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.
(2)
Application in the prescribed form should be submified in the Reception Counter in a Cover/Envelope super-scribed "Application for the post of Principal, Govt. Law College" and obtain receipt from the counter to ensure hislher submission of application form.
(3)
The Commission will not be responsible for delay in receipt of application due to any reason whatsoever.
(4)
Application form can also be sent ooTo the Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service

Commission, Itanagar-791 I 1l (AP)" through registered post/courier and should reach the Commission before 4 P.M. on 03-05-2018.

(5) Application form not fulfiIling the terms and conditions as stipulated in the advertisement will be rejected.
