Sub: Filling up of one position for engagement as Project Assistants (PA II).

Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up of one position of Project Assistants (PA-II) on a purely temporary basis, in the prescribed proforma. The details of the Project under which engagement is proposed to be made is as under:

Title of the Project :	Improved Materials for Green Firecrackers
Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications	PA-II: M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry with minimum 60% marks from recognized University.
Desirable experience, if any	Good academic record and/or research experience in synthesis of inorganic complexes/organic compounds and their characterization using techniques such as FTIR, XRD, NMR; should have spirit to work in a team.
Age limit*	28 years (PA-II)
Job requirement	Synthesis and characterization of Ba and Sr based complexes and their Characterization
Consolidated emoluments per month	Rs. 25,000/-
No. of position to be filled up	one (1)

* Age limit as shown above is relaxable by 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST community and 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC community.

The engagement will be for a period of five months only which will not be extended further. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

The email application should reach on or before 22-08-2018. Late applications will not be considered.

The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum and merely possessing of same will not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this Notice of engagement is large, it may not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the Notice. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field at the time of applying.

The candidates short listed by the Screening Committee for being called for interview would be notified on the Notice Board on the NCL Main Gate on 23-August-2018 or the candidates may ascertain the information in the evening by contacting the following telephone No.: 020 25902733 or via email to b.punji@ncl.res.in.

The short listed candidates will be required to appear for an interview before the Selection Committee in Mithila, PAML building, of the Laboratory at 9.30 a.m. on 24August-2018. No interview call letter will be issued separately.

No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Selected candidates will have to join for duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.
