ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF PROJECT STAFF

NITRD is currently working on many time bound projects of National importance. In order to execute these projects successfully, NITRD is looking for Project Staff in various disciplines as per requirement. Applications are invited from interested eligible candidates for inclusion in a Panel for possible engagement in different projects as Project Fellow/Project Research Associate at NITRD, New Delhi.

Walking Interview will be conducted for the post of JRF (1), LAB ASSISTANT (2), DATA ENTERY OPERATOR (1), LAB ATTENDANT(1)

Date : 26.11.2018 (Monday) Time : 2.00 p.m

Based on the specific requirements of the Project, candidates from the panel would be considered. The educational qualifications, age, monthly remuneration etc. are as indicated below:

3. Data Entry operator Intermediate or 12t' pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC A level from a recognized institute and/or 2 yearsexperience in EDPwork in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization. Rs.18,000/-Per month 35 yrs.
4. Multi Tasking Staff, Field Laboratory, Attendant/ Sweeper/ Safaikaramchari High School or equivalent Rs.15,800/-Per month

Note: For Projects of other Government Agencies like DBT, DST, MoES etc., guidelines (qualification, emoluments etc.) of the funding agencies would be followed. Where there is no such guideline, the above guidelines would be followed.

Benefits:

  1. The facility of Ph.D. registration shall be allowed to those Project Staff who have worked for minimum period of two years and have at least cleared CSIR-UGC lectureship (NET), or GATE examination or published at least one paper in international peer reviewed ISI indexed journals. However, at any given time not more than 30% or Project Staff shall be allowed to register for Ph.D. Over and above CSIR-CDRI may fix the criteria to control the quality. It will be ensured that Ph.D. registration does not become a tool for extension of the tenure of Project Staff beyond five years.
  2. Project Staffwillbe provided OPD medical facilities through CSIR-CDRI Dispensary for self only.
  3. Project Staff will be entitled for one days leave for each completed months service. However, in extra-ordinary circumstances Principal Investigator of the Project and/or Director, CSIR-CDRI may provide relaxation in the rules considering the exigency.
  4. TA/DA : Project Staff will be entitled for TA/DA as per eligibility while on official tour.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT STAFF :

(1)
The positions of Project Staff are purely Temporary and on Contract basis under the externally funded/sponsored/Network/other project undertaken by CSIR-CDRI and is co-terminus with the projects tenure.
(2)
Candidates who have completed their degree with requisite educational qualifications only need to apply.
(3)
The engagement under project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever, either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee, for regular appointment in CSIR /CDRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions or precedent.
(3)
Age limit will be reckoned as on the date of interview. Age limit shall be relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates as per Government of India / CSIR orders.
(4)
The Validity of the panel will be for a period of One year. The candidate has to register again after one year or after his/her tenure in the project is over.
(5)
All the communication regarding the call for interview will be only through electronic mode (through: E-Mail/Mobile).
(6)
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the Interview.
(7)
The terms and conditions of engagement of Project Staff may be amended from time to time.
(8)
Offer of engagement could be given for short duration, i.e. 6 months/1 year, which may be extended further on the recommendations of the PI based on the requirement, up to the tenure of the Project.
(9)
The maximum duration for which Project Staff could be engaged in different projects taken together, will be 5 years.
(10)
Appointment under new project would be made only after submission of No Demand Certificate in previous project.
(11)
The performance of Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that any one not found up to mark, could be replaced.
(12)
Submission of resignation before completion of tenure for sake of engagement in another project (s) will be discouraged.

RECRUITMENT/ENGAGEMENT PROCEDURE:

  1. There would be a Standing Screening Committee to screen the applications received during the month/quarter and a Standing Selection Committee/s which would interview the shortlisted candidates for selection of candidates for the positions in various Projects.

  2. All the applications received online will be screened by the standing Screening Committee every quarter and broad area-wise lists would be prepared of candidates who meet the minimum prescribed eligibility criteria. This list would be appended to the existing valid list.

  3. The validity of the list would be one year from the date of Screening. While appending the fresh list every quarter, those applications which over-lived the validity period would be removed from the panel.

  4. As and when aProject Staff is required for aProject, the Principal Investigator ofthe Project shall obtain the Panel and applications in the broad area relevant to his Project. Based on the specific requirements of the Project, the PI in consultation with the Chairman of the Standing Selection Committee would shortlist 810 candidates from the list who possess the required qualifications and experience, for aninterview.

    1. The PI would invite the shortlisted candidates by e-mail/mobile number provided by the candidate in the

    2. application, for interview which would be held within a weeks time.
  5. The candidates should produce all the Original Certificates and Testimonials at the time of interview and also bring a print out of the online application by logging on to the site, along with a copy of the certificates and testimonials.

  6. The recommendation of the Selection Committee would be submitted to the Director for approval.

  7. After approval of the Director, offer letter/s would be issued to the selected candidate/s.

  8. After the candidate joins the position, his/her name would be removed from the list.

  9. Inter-changing of Project Personnel /jumping fromone project to another project by tendering resignation before completion of tenure in previous project, shall be discouraged. If a Project Staff engaged under a project wishes to apply against a position under another project, he/she will have to register again at the website to getempanelled.
