Requirement of Team Leader for e-NAM Project at SFAC, New Delhi One Position

Job Description

The incumbent should be Graduate / Post Graduate in Science, Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture Engineering with PGDBM/MBA.

The position is of a senior level professional having wide experience of various functions of commodity exchanges / e-Market (spot or futures). Well versed with e-Trading, Clearing and settlement systems, finance and other business functions related to trading of agricultural commodities on an electronic platform. Exposure to the APMC Acts of the States and functioning of regulated markets would be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in the domain of managing e-Markets, Commodity exchanges/ stock exchanges or big agri-business companies. Experience and exposure to Government departments working would be an added advantage.

Persons having experience in procurement, Quality assurance, Logistics, Warehousing of Agricultural/ Horticultural commodities, Agri-business will be given preference.

Job Profile

The project is aimed at creating online platform which integrates the APMC regulated market yards across the states to create a unified National Agriculture Market (NAM) (For details, please visit http://sfacindia.com/Nam.aspx ).

The job of Team Leader includes following functions

1. Leading the PMU team at the office of Small Farmers Agri-business Consortium (SFAC), New Delhi and ensuring time bound compliance to day to day functions allotted to each member of PMU.
2. Coordination with Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare (DAC&FW), Ministry of Agriculture, State Governments and other stakeholders like, Strategic Partner (SP) M/s NFCL (responsible for designing, roll out and maintaining the e-NAM platform), Directorate of Marketing and inspection (DMI), Transaction Advisor M/s Ernst and Young etc.
3. Monitoring of contracts with SP and Transaction Advisor (TA).
4. Putting up draft replies to RTIs, Parliament Questions, Queries regarding e-NAM etc received from DAC&FW to Managing Director, SFAC and sending to the concerned after approval of the competent authority.
5. Processing of bills related to e-NAM.
6. Scrutiny of DPRs received from States for integration of mandis with e-NAM and putting up the recommendations to DAC&FW for consideration.
7. Day to day support to Managing Director, SFAC to ensure smooth functioning of e-NAM platform. Replies to the Parliament Questions.
8. Any other work as may be assigned by Managing Director/Director SFAC from time to time.

Terms & Package

The incumbent will be engaged on contractual basis. S/he will be positioned at SFAC, New Delhi.

The remuneration will be Rs.1,21,000/- per month on CTC basis.
