Advertisement for Contractual Engagement of Personnel on Full Time Fixed Tenure Basis

MECON, A Premier Miniratna, Schedule A, Govt. of India Enterprise under Ministry of Steel, providing Engineering, Consultancy, Contracting and Project Management Services invites application from committed; result oriented, suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following position(s) in different disciplines purely on full time fixed tenure contract basis. However, experience in the field of econometric modelling, strategic planning, socioeconomic studies, macro-economic analysis and price forecasting shall be given weightage..	Nil. 4	Statistician	28 Years	Regular full time Post Graduate Degree in Statistics from a premier institute of National repute duly recognised by UGC with minimum 60% marks.	Nil. However, experience in the field of statistics/ econometrics/quantitative techniques for undertaking various forecasts/risk analysis employing state-ofthe- art statistical tools/softwares including planning/ MoU exercise shall be given weightage	Rs. 32,000/-	03 (Three) years
5	Asstt. Project Engineer (APE)	35 Years	Degree in Engineering from University duly recognised by AICTE /UGC.	Minimum two (02) years in Project Management / Construction. Experience in management of Gas Line Project shall be given weightage.	Rs. 35,000/-	02 (two) years
6	Asstt. Project Engineer (Civil) (APECivil)	35 Years	Degree in Civil Engineering from University duly recognised by AICTE /UGC.	Minimum 05(five) years in construction or related fields. Experience in Planning, designing and project execution of construction of township / institutional/ industrial building shall be given weightage	Rs. 35,000/-	02(two) years
7	Junior Executive (Corporate Communication)	30 Years	Bachleors degree in Journalism/Mass Communication (3 years regular course) or Degree in any discipline (3 years regular course) with diploma (regular with minimum one year duration) in Mass Communication from University duly recognised by AICTE /UGC. * Note:

1. The qualification acquired through correspondence mode shall not be considered.
2. The Age and Experience may be relaxed for deserving candidates which is at the solediscretion of the Management. The monthly remuneration may be increased at the solediscretion of management for deserving candidates

Medical Facilities:

Free medical facilities for self and dependent spouse at Companys Hospital at
Ranchi (Jharkhand) or consultation by Companys retained doctors if posted in engineering office atDelhi or Bangalore.

Accommodation Facilities: The candidates posted at Ranchi shall be entitled for Companys quarter(at rates applicable to regular employees). The candidate posted at engineering office at Delhi orBangalore shall be paid 10% of monthly contractual remuneration as support for accommodation.

2. Duration of Contractual Engagement:
The contract period is for a Maximum period of 03(three) years not beyond, renewable after
every spell of 01(one) year based on satisfactory performance with an annual increment of Rs.
1000/- each year. However, the period of contractual engagement can be reduced/ terminated
due to unsatisfactory performance of the individual or project requirement/progress.

3. Last date of receiving application form : 31.03.2017 (Friday)

• The engagement is purely contractual in nature and shall not confer any right on the candidate for regularization in MECON Ltd.

• Incomplete applications/ improperly filled application form will be liable to be rejected.

• Candidates should satisfy themselves that they fulfil criteria of required qualifications, experience, age etc as mentioned in the advertisement before applying for the post.

• No correspondence will be entertained about the outcome of the application.

• Mere submission of application and fulfilling the eligibility criteria gives no right to any person to appear for interview and/or employment.

• The joining of the candidate will be subject to being found medically fit duly certified by the CMO I/c Ispat Hospital Ranchi (If joining at Ranchi)/Registered Medical Practitioner (If joining at
