BITS Pilani invites applications for Faculty Positions

BITS Pilani offers formal education and research programmes in Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Social Sciences and Management from its campuses at Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai.

With a view to position itself as one of the top research-led technical universities in Asia, BITS Pilani has embarked upon an aggressive plan to expand its Post-graduate, Doctoral and Sponsored Research programmes, while consolidating its Under-graduate programmes.

Faculty Positions - On-campus

BITS Pilani invites motivated and research-focused faculty with outstanding academic background and potential to excel in research and teaching to apply for positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor or Senior Professor in different disciplines for its campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai.

Candidates with a recent PhD will be considered for appointment as Assistant Professor, while those

with post-PhD experience of 6 years or more may be considered for higher positions.

Faculty with exceptional contribution in teaching and research with at least 6 years of experience as a Professor, at BITS or equivalent, may be considered for the position of Senior Professor.

In the Department of Computer Science, a few exceptional candidates without PhD may be considered for appointment in a suitable position to enable them to contribute to teaching while pursuing a PhD Degree. Other details are available at www.bits-pilani.ac.in

Faculty Positions- Off Campus

BITS Pilani invites academics and experienced industry professionals with outstanding background in the following disciplines to pursue an academic career as faculty members to teach in off-campus WILP programmes & mentor on-campus students undergoing Practice School in industry at Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi (NCR), Mumbai.
