Walk in Interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Applications are invited (in the enclosed format) from Indian nationals for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on contract for the research project entitled Efficient coupling of water and energy technologies for smart sustainable cities (ECO-WET), sponsored by INDO-GERMAN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CENTER, a bilateral institution of Govt. of India (DST) and Fedral Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the funding agency rules and service conditions of the University.

Essential Qualifications	:M.E./M. Tech in Power Electronics & Drives or equivalent with First Class, GATE/NET qualification is preferred.
Desirable Experience	: Preference will be given to candidate with exposure of MATLAB/SIMULINK software with knowledge of optimization techniques.
Fellowship	: Rs 26,000/- (fixed) per month for first year, Rs.28,000/- (fixed) per month for second year Rs.30,000/- (fixed) per month for third year.
Age Limit	: 28 years on the date of interview
Tenure of Appointment	: Appointment will be made on contract basis for the period of one year initially, which may be extended depending upon the performance evaluation on the yearly basis till the end of project.
