WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR ENGAGEMENT OF

General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO),

(ON CONTRACT BASIS wef 01.11.2018 to 30.06.2020)

ONGC, Delhi requires General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO), on contract basis to meet the contingency requirements with the following job specifications:

One post is reserved for female candidate and one for male candidate. However in the event suitable male candidates are not available, the post can be filled up by a female candidate also. Both the posts are for unreserved category.

Increment rates for General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) engaged on contract basis shall be Rs. 1000/- after successful completion of one year tenure.

Medical Facility

Full time Doctors shall get Medical facility of Rs. 1000 per month for OPD expenses along with monthly remuneration. They shall also be extended Family Floater cover for Rs 5 lakhs for indoor treatment in respect of self, spouse and two immediate dependents i.e. children and /or parents.

Scope of work on appointment:

i) Examine patients, prescribe medicines, issue of reference/ credit notes to hospitals.

ii) To visit serious patients at their residences,

iii) To attend to retired and other employees, treatment and reimbursement of expenditure bills, processing various reimbursement issues

1v) Screening and scrutinizing medical reimbursement bills of ONGC, ONGC Videsh Limited employees , issuing credit notes for pharmacy and hospitals to them.

v) Working extensively on computers in ONGC internal systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

i. The candidate must possess the essential prescribed qualifications as well as a valid registration with the concerned statutory authority along with his application.

In addition, the candidate should be authorised to practice in the State of Delhi/ NCT of Delhi. Experience is desirable for both the posts.

ii) No foreign degree equivalent to MBBS in the field shall be recognised.

iii). Qualification which is termed equivalent to the one prescribed in the advertisement will not be accepted.

iv). No post has been reserved for SC/ST and OBC category, however all categories of candidates can apply provided he fulfils the criteria specified for the post. He or she shall however be treated at PAR with unreserved category of candidates.

7. Selection Criteria:

The weightages assigned to different parameters in the selection process has been kept as follows:

Qualification - 70 marks (60 marks for essential qualification & upto 10 marks or any relevant higher qualification)

Interview - 30 marks

Total - 100 marks

Candidates in order to qualify in the interview shall have to score 18 marks out of 30 marks.

Candidates who qualify in the interview shall be empanelled in the Merit List.

Offer of appointment shall be issued to the candidates based on their relative rank in the Merit List prepared on the sum total of marks scored by the candidate in qualification and interview.

In case of a tie in the total marks scored between two candidates, the candidate who is older in age shall be given preference.

Note:

1. Engagement is purely temporary, on contract basis, and can be terminated at any time by giving one month notice, by either side.

2. No claim for regular employment in ONGC, by virtue of this contractual engagement, shall be entertained at any stage

3. All Doctors must possess valid Registration Certificates on the date of Interview.

4. Desirous doctors meeting the above job specifications may report to Manager(HR) at 09.30 AM on 26th October 2018 along with their credentials.

The venue of the interview is Management Centre 2 & 3 , Ground Floor, Deendayal Urja Bhavan, 5 Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 1100070 with the following Original certificates along with a set of Self attested Photocopies of documents mentioned below:

1. Valid Photo identity

2. Passport size photograph

3. SSC Board Certificate containing Date of Birth (DOB). No other proof for determining Date of Birth shall be considered.

4. HSC Board Certificate

5. First Year, Second Year, Third Year MBBS mark sheets - All semesters. Attempt Certificate if applicable.

6. Internship Completion Certificate

7. M.B.B.S. Degree Certificate

8. Valid Registration Certificate

9. Proof of Higher Qualification (if any) - Mark sheet of all semesters and Degree/ Diploma Certificate

12. Experience Certificate (if any)

13. Valid proof of change of name (in case, applicable)

No TA/DA is admissible.
