Subject: Recruitment of Two Graphic Designer Walk-in interview under the Project entitled Development Textbook in Biotechnology for Higher Secondary Stage (PAC- 6.09) &

Development of Textbooks in Computer Science at Higher Secondary Stage (PAC 6.10)

The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics, NCERT will hold a walk-in interview to recruit Two Graphic Designer on contractual basis for the project mentioned above. The terms and conditions of the Graphic Designer are as under:

Essential Qualifications

Graphic Designer 02 Posts for 10 Months or upto 31.3.2019 whichever is earlier Remuneration: @ Rs.30000/- per month (consolidated)

A Full time Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA) from a recognized college/university with minimum 55% marks. 1 year experience with proven working knowledge of digital graphic design using Adobe CS6, CorelDraw. Responsibilities: The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the overall design and illustrative/graphic /visuals work for textbooks of Biotechnology, Computer Science and Informatics Practices. The candidate will also be required to prepare layouts, designs, and formats for textbooks including front matters, and chapter contents.

1. Tenure : 10 Months or Upto 31st March, 2019 whichever is earlier.

Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi - 110016.

Note:

1. The posts are temporary with no provision of increment in the amount

2. Candidates already in a job should forward their applications through their employer and/or come with a No Objection Certificate, without which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

3. Candidates should bring and produce their original certificates in support of their degree and experiences along with two Passport size photographs.

4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

5. The selected candidates may be required to join immediately.

6. Candidates should bring along with them their written and/or published work, if any, (including their art-work, Multimedia, Graphics, Animation, Advertisement, Books, Journals, Thesis/Dissertation, Magazines, etc).
