Educational qualification:

(a) Essential : i) A Masters Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in n a point scale wherever grading system is fol llowed) by a recognized University.

ii) Ph.D Degree in Veterinary y Science with evidence of published work k and Research guidance.

iii)Must be presently serving in n the professor cadre.

iv) Total 15 years experience o of Teaching/Research/Extension Education in n the concerned faculty out of which 10 years e experience must be as Associate Professor o or its equivalent cadre or as amended by the VC CI /UGC from time to time.

v) A minimum score in the AAcademic Performance Indicator (API) based d, performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS S), as set out in the UGC Regulation for direct t recruitment of Professors in College or as ame ended by UGC/ other stipulating body from timme to time.

(b) Desirable:

i) Good knowledge of the edu ucational system prevalent at the National an nd International level and familiarity with mod dern concept of organization and coordinatio on of Teaching, Research and Extension Educat tion activities.

Age Maximum 50(fifty) yearss as on 17.02.2018.. Relaxable by 5(five) yeears in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Gove ernment Servants. However the SC/ST/PH can ndidates will not get further relaxation of 5(five) ) years over and above relaxation of 5(five) ye ears which they are already entitled to get as SC C/ST candidates.

The last date of receiv ving application is 17.02.2018. The applicatiion(s) received after the closing date will not bee entertained.

Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data partic culars through One Time Profile Registration n (OTPR) on the Commissions Website viz wwww.tpsc.gov.in. Once applicant registers his/he er particulars, a User ID is generated and se ent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through h Commissions website.

(b) Experience Certificate, where necessary, shall have to be issued by the competent authority of the Deptt./Institutions/faculty etc with clear mentioned of starting date & end date as the case may be.

Other Important information:

(1) The number of post to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requisition of the Department.

(2) Prescribed Form availability (For Offline):-The 4(four) pages Application Form printed in colour font will be available from all Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary,

T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.

In addition, the said prescribed Form printed in colour font (A4 size 90 GSM paper) can also be down loaded from the Website http://www.tpsc.gov.in and in that case, the prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid to the Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission. The Bank deposit Receipt is to be affixed with the filled up application form in the specified Box on the 2^nd page of the form.

(3) Rate of Recruitment Fees:

(i) Group-A Posts:-Rs.200/-(Rupees Two Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 150/-(Rupees One Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

ii. Group-B Posts:-Rs.150/-(Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs. 100/-(Rupees one hundred) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

iii. Group-C Posts:-Rs.100/-(Rupees One Hundred) only for General Candidates and 50/-(Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.

(6)

Candidates should poses required qualification (along with various registration if required for service) & other experience before last date of submission of application form.

(7)

Decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be final.

Assessment and evaluation of the answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external authority.
