Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Position as per the details given below, for consultancy / research projects, under the Project Investigator Dr. K. Srinivasan, Associate Professor, Department of Instrumentation and control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.

1. 1.	Title of the Project	Smart process measurement and automation
2. 2.	Funding Agency for the Project specimen	Ministry of Electronics and information Technology (MeiTy), GOI
3. 3.	Project Positions and Number	Research Fellow 01 (The candidate selected as Research fellow is eligible to register for Ph.D. programme as per NITT rules and regulations)
4. 4.	Qualifications	B.E./B.Tech. in ECE/EEE/ICE/EIE related discipline and M.E./M.Tech. in Control/Instrumentation Engineering related discipline with minimum of 70% marks in both UG and PG from the reputed University / Institute.
5.	Age	Candidate age should be preferably less than 27 years as on the date of advertisement. . In exceptional case, the age may be relaxed for experienced /deserving candidates.
6. 5.	Desirable knowledge.	The candidate should have good knowledge of probability theory, Control system, Signal processing, Linear algebra and softwares like Matlab, C and C++. The candidate having good knowledge in NCS will be added advantage.
7. 5.	Emoluments	INR. 30,000/- per month for 15 months.
8. 6.	Duration	15 months It may be extended further with regular scholarship of INR. 32500/- per month based on the performance of candidate and availability of fund.
9. 7.	Job Description	1. Study and simulate the Networked control system. 2. Purchase of equipments and components for the project. 3. Design and development of Estimation and controller for Networked control system. 4. Evaluate and analyze the performance.

Please note that there is no need to attach certificates in email. However the duly signed hard copy and necessary certificate copy should be sent to Dr. K. Srinivasan, Associate Professor, Department of Instrumentation

and control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-620015, Tamil Nadu on or before 4 pm, September 24, 2018.

B. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email.

C. Candidates before appearing in the Written exam/Interview/both, shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.

D. Candidates shall bring along with them the original certificates at the time of Written exam/Interview/both for verification.

E. Please note that TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the Written exam/Interview/both.

F. Mere fullfilling the above criteria will not be sufficient. The higher criteria for the selection of the candidates may be imposed based on the number of applications.

G. The selection committee decision is final. If any applicant is found to Canvass in any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
