Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Position as per the details given below, for consultancy / research projects, under the Project Investigator Dr. G. Saravana Ilango, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.

1.	Title of the Project	Development of Modular Multilevel Converter for Enhancing Power Quality and PV Output Power under Partial Shading Conditions in Grid-Connected PV
2.	Funding Agency for the Project specimen	Science and Engineering Research Board.
3.	Project Positions and Number	Junior Research Fellow - 01
4.	Qualifications	B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Power Electronics with minimum of 70% in both UG and PG from recognized University/ Institute. Preferably age should be less than 30 Years
5.	Emoluments	JRF @ Rs.25,000/- pm plus 20% HRA @ Rs. 28,000/- pm plus 20% HRA from the third year of the project (After the project progress review)
6.	Duration	3 Years.
7.	Job Description	1. Study and simulate the characteristics of SiC Devices. 2. Purchase of equipments and components for the project. 3. Fabrication of modular multilevel converter and implementation of MPPT. 4. Evaluate and analyze the performance. 5. The candidate selected as JRF is eligible to register for pursuing Ph.D. programme as per NITT rules and regulations after fulfilling requirements of Ph.D. programme.

A. Candidates before appearing for the Interview, shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
B. Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their application with all necessary documents to the Project Investigator through registered/speed post with JRF-SERB mentioned in the Post.
Filled in application form should be furnished only in the prescribed format.
Self-attested copies of mark sheets, degree certificate and experience certificate.

C. The duly filled in application form should reach before 4 pm of October 1 st, 2018 in prescribed format.
D. Candidates shall bring along with them the original certificates at the time of interview for verification.
E. The interview will be held in EEE Department, NIT Tiruchirappalli and the date of interview will be communicated for the shortlisted candidates.
F. Please note that no TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
G. The selection committee decision is final. If found to Canvass any application form, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
