Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) post for DSTBDTD sponsored research project titled Development of a Non-invasive Optical Instrument Based on Skin Reflectance Technique for Monitoring Jaundice in Neonates (Ref No: IDP/MED/29/2016) in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.

Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Number of post: One

Essential qualification: M.E/ M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Medical Electronics, Applied Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Embedded system, Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum of 60% marks from recognized University/ Institute and relevant research/ teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals

(OR) M.Sc in Bioelectronics, Bioelectronics & Instrumentation with NET/ GATE qualification and relevant research/teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals

(OR) MBBS with NET qualification and at least 2 years of post MBBS research experience.

Salary (Consolidate): Rs. 28,000 per month + 20% HRA for 2 years

Duration of Project: Initially for One year and extendable further one more year
