Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with a stipend Rs. 12000 /- per month + 20% HRA( 1st and 2nd year ) , Rs.14000/- per month + 20% HRA (3rd year) and for the post of Field Assistant with a stipend Rs. 8000 /- per month fixed , in a DBT sponsored project entitled Hands on training programme in fruits and vegetables preservation and its marketing by SC/ST weaker section farm women of Varanasi and Mirzapur District (Project No-P07/679), sanctioned upto 3 years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with project .The JRF candidates should be M.Sc. in Home Science-Food and Nutrition/ Food and Nutrition /Nutritional Science/ Food and Technology with minimum 55% marks and have qualified NET/GATE/JRF. The JRF candidates upper age limit is 28 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates) and the Field Assistant candidates should be High School with minimum 55% marks and the upper age limit is 30 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/ Female candidates). Candidates trained in Computer Applications will be given preference. JRF candidates will be selected on the basis of interview and merit and the Field Assistant candidates will be selected on the basis of written and interview. Written test is scheduled on 17.8.2018 at 11.a.m. in Department of Home Science, Mahila Mahavidyalaya, B.H.U.
