Qualifications Essential:- (i) Doctoral Degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences
Or
In Basic Sciences with specialization in crop improvement
(ii) At least 3 years experience as Principal Scientist/ Professor or in an equivalent position in the pay band-4 of ` 37,400 - 67,000/- + RGP of ` 10,000/-
(iii) Evidence of publications/ activities/ contributions to suggest that the candidate has a broad vision/ perspective on Agricultural research.
Desirable:-Specialization and experience in the field crops.
Duties: (i) To coordinate, supervise and implement the research programme in the project of Forage Crops at different centres all over the country.
(ii) To conduct lead experiments in the field of forage crops and to publish suitable reports and other publications in the field from time to time.
(iii) Any other duty that may be assigned by the ICAR/Director, IGFRI, Jhansi from time to time.
