Hiring and Empanelment of Project Assistant / Research Associates under Externally Funded/ Sponsored Project(s) at Delhi

Applications are invited for empanelment / hiring of Project Assistants / Associates at various levels under the externally funded / sponsored project(s) and other projects. Area wise panels will be prepared in the following areas / disciplines for their selection in various projects as per the needs of the projects :- As per guidelines, details of requirements like qualification, age, stipend etc. are given below

Job Requirement : Sampling and analysis of environmental quality data for air in different regions, Air Quality Modelling, meteorological data collection and analysis, application of weather forecasting models, etc.; Analysis of secondary and primary data, interpretation and report writing.

Age Relaxation : The upper age limit for PA level lll/ RA shall be as indicated in the above column no. 3, which is relaxed upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH and female applicants.

The engagement is purely on temporary and contract basis under the externally fundedi sponsored projects undertaken by CSIR-NEER|, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the status/ duration of the project, satisfactory performance / conduct of the candidate, and will be terminus with the project duration. Maximum duration in one project or in different projects taken together in CSIR shall not be more than five years in any case.

The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and should be in the area mentioned as above. Mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview / test. The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for shortlisting the candidates. The candidate should, therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and experience in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification, supported with documents and ensure that all details are complete and accurate.

The cut-off date of the maximum age limit will be the date of application. All eligible candidates as per advertisement are required to appear before the Assessment and Recruitment Committee for Projects (ARCP) for a personal interview or a test (or both) at NEERI, Delhi Zonal Centre. No TA will be

admissible for appearing at the interview / test.

The engagement shall be an assignment and not an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. lt would, therefore, not confer any righUclaim, implicit on the candidates for regularization/ absorption against any post in CSIR-NEERI or under any other scheme of CSIR. However, each candidate is encouraged to improve his / her qualification during the tenure.
