Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati is a Grant-in-Aid Institute of Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India and a unit of Tata Memorial Centre (Mumbai). It is a 230 bedded hospital with state-of-the art facility for treatment of cancer. The Institute also conducts various academic courses viz. MD in Radiation Oncology, DM in Medical Oncology, M.Ch in Surgical Oncology, 2 Years PG Fellowship Programme in five disciplines of Oncology, M.Sc in Radiological Physics and many paramedical courses. Approximately 12,000 new cancer patients and 80,000 old cancer patients visit the Institute every year.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from Indian citizens for the following contractual post at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Regional Cancer Centre, Guwahati-781016, Assam, India.

Candidates with working experience in respective field will be given preference.

Private practice is not permitted.

Age : Below 45 years (relaxable in exceptional cases).

The Selection Committee can relax age and experience in suitable cases.

Azad Road, Guwahati-781016, Assam on or before 26^TH 15^th March 2018. Applications may also be submitted through e-mail: bbci_info@yahoo.co.in. The original certificates / mark sheets / experience certificates etc. and hard copy of the duly signed application along with a set of photocopies shall be submitted at the time of interview.

The decision of the Institute as to eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final.

The applicants, who do not have requisite qualifications up to the last date of submission of applications, will not be considered.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Mere fulfilling the minimum educational qualification and experience doesnt bestow right to a candidate to be called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to reject or accept any candidature without assigning any reason thereof.

The Management of Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute will not be responsible for rejection of applications due to late postal delivery or lost in transit.

The list of eligible candidates, date & time of interview will be published in the website of the Institute www.bbcionline.org (bulletin-advertisement section) on 17.03.2018 and no separate call letter will be issued to the candidates.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
