Terms of Reference Web Developer (Short Term)

NationalHealthSystemsResourceCentre(NHSRC)hasbeensetupundertheNationalHealthMission(NHM)asanautonomous registered society, to channelize technical assistance and capacity building support to the states for strengthening the public health system.

NHSRC onbehalfofMinistryofHealth&FamilyWelfare(MoH&FW) intends recruitingDatabase Developer (ShortTerm) purely on contractual basis.

Job Description:

The Developer shall have excellent knowledge and sound experience in developing web based applications on Microsoft .net platform. He / she shall bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facingfeatures
  
  
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  
  
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  
  
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  
  
• Deployment of the web application at the data centre VM
  
  
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  
  

Eligibility and Skills Sets:

• Qualifications:B.E/B.Tech/MCAfromareputedinstitute.MicrosoftcertificationinWeb Development(Desirable)
  
  
• Experience: 5+ YearsExperience
  
  
• Excellent knowledge of C# and .NET Framework 4.5
  
  
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  
  
• Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  
  
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  
  
• Good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS,
  
  
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  
  
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  
  
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN / Others}}
  
  
• Experience of deployment of web application
  
  
• Experience in development of application for deployment in data centre VM
  
  

Age Limit: Below 45 years as on last date of receiving of applications. Remuneration: Within band of Rs. 40,000/-toRs.90,000/-p.m. -as appropriate Contract Tenure: Three months and extendable
