WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ WALK-IN-PERSONAL DESCUSION

Desert Medicine Research Centre, Jodhpur is a one of the 32 Institutes/ Centers of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), an autonomous body under the Department of Health Research, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. DMRC was established in 1984 with the mandate to

Undertake and promote research on health problems specific to desert areas. Study the changing patterns of health problems especially in view of various developmental activities taking place in the region. Strengthen the scientific and technical expertise of the state level as well as local health agencies.

The following posts are to be filled up on contract basis (purely temporary basis).

Project Name: BIO INFORMATIC CENTRE

# POSTS: Scientist C (Non-Medical): 01 post (UR). Age Limit: Not exceeding, 40 years Salary: Rs. 51,000/-(corresponding to PB-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-)

Essential Qualifications: : 1^st-Class Master degree in Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology/Life Sciences from a recognized university with four years experience or 2^{nd Class Masters degree in Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology/Life Sciences + Ph.D. in relevant subject from the recognized University with four years experience.}

# POST: Project Assistant: 01 post (OBC).

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years. Salary: Rs. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated).

Essential Qualifications: : Graduate in Life Science from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Masters degree in Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences from the recognized University.

Nature of job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

# POST: Project Technician-I (Laboratory Attendant): 01 post (SC)

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 25 years. Salary: Rs.16, 000/-per month (Consolidated)

Essential Qualification: High school or equivalent with one year experience from a Government institution or recognized institute.

Nature of job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

B.Sc. Degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.

Experience will be considered after achieving the eligible qualification. In case of candidates appearing are more than 30 then Walk-in-written test will be conducted.

Age relaxation is admissible in respect of OBC and SC posts as per Government of India guidelines, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age Concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

Candidates possessing the above qualifications may attend for walk-in-written test / Personal discussion at DMRC campus, Jodhpur. They should report on 6^th August 2017 before 11:30

Those appearing for walk-in-written test/ personal discussion should bring with them (1) All Certificates/ Testimonials in Original. (2) One attested copy each of the Certificate/ Testimonial.

General condition: The appointment will be on contract basis and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for any regular employment at DMRC/ICMR etc.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Written Test/ Walk-in-Personal Discussion.
