WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ WALK-IN-PERSONAL DESCUSION

Desert Medicine Research Centre, Jodhpur is a one of the 32 Institutes/ Centers of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), an autonomous body under the Department of Health Research, The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi. DMRC was established in 1984 with the mandate to:

Undertake and promote research on health problems specific to desert areas. Study the changing patterns of health problems especially in view of various developmental activities taking place in the region. Strengthen the scientific and technical expertise of the state level as well as local health agencies.

The following posts are to be filled up on contract basis (purely temporary basis).

Project Name: Tribal Health Research Unit, Jodhpur.

POSTS: Project Assistant: 01 post (SC)

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years. Salary: Rs. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated).

Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Life science from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Masters degree in Life Sciences/Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/Chemistry from recognized university.

Nature of job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

Candidates possessing the above qualifications may attend for walk-in-written test / Personal discussion at DMRC campus, Jodhpur. They should report on 13^th August before 10:30 A.M. at Desert Medicine Research Centre, New Pali Road, Jodhpur -342 005.

Project Name: Assessment of Iodine Status Among Pregnant Women in Selected Districts of India

# POST: Project Assistant: 01 Post (UR).

Age Limit: Not exceeding, 30 years. Salary: Rs. 31,000/-per month (Consolidated).

Essential Qualifications: : Graduate in Life Science from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Masters degree in Life Sciences/ Bio-Technology/ Bio-Chemistry/Chemistry from the recognized University.

Nature of job: To assist in execution of research studies which will include field survey work also and any other work assigned.

Experience will be considered after achieving the eligible qualification. In case of candidates appearing are more than 30 then Walk-in-written test will be conducted.

Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC post as per Government of India guidelines, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age Concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

Those appearing for walk-in-written test/ personal discussion should bring with them:

General condition: The appointment will be on contract basis and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidate will not have any right to claim for any regular employment at DMRC/ICMR etc.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Written Test/ Walk-in-Personal Discussion.
