Applications are invited for post of JRF in the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), DAE, Govt. of India sponsored project (Sanction letter no. 39/14/28/2016-BRNS dated 03.02.2017) entitled Studies of High Z impurity behavior using VUV spectral emissions from the tokamaks in IPR in Department of Physics, BIT Mesra, Jaipur Campus. This project will be carried out in collaboration with Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar. The project personnel will be working on advanced computational spectroscopic codes at BIT, Jaipur Campus and visiting IPR periodically for experimental work.
Project Duration: Initially 2 Years, may be extended for third year if required.

M.Sc. or M.E./M. Tech. in Physics/Applied Physics/Atomic Physics/Plasma Physics with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Preferences will be given to those candidates who have cleared NET/GATE and/or have working experience on atomic/molecular physics or spectroscopy with sound knowledge in computational & experimental work.

Rs. 25, 000/- p.m. consolidated + HRA (as per project norms)
