DETAILED ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED ENGINEER ON CONTRACT BASIS

Applications are invited in the prescribed format for engagement of a retired electrical engineer for rendering contractual services of engineering consultancy, designing, estimating, supervision and evaluation, including project execution on stand alone basis of ESIC, Regional Office, Panaji-Goa.

Vacancy and other details are as under:

The last date for receipt of applications is 31/08/2018 at 5:00 P.M.

Place of posting will be at Panaji and the candidate will be required to travel to other locations/sites within the State of Goa as per requirement.

REMUNERATION:-

For retired employees from pensionable govt. employment: A consolidated monthly remuneration equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension drawn, according to the level / rank at the time of retirement / superannuation.

For retired employees from non-pensionable govt. / semi - govt. employment like Autonomous Bodies, PSUs etc.: A consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 33,630/-.

In addition to the above consolidated remuneration, the selected candidate will be allowed TA & DA for tour undertaken for official work at rates applicable. No other perks / benefits such as HRA, Transport Allowance, Medical Reimbursement and Leave with pay are admissible. Proportionate deduction shall be made from the consolidated remuneration payable for days of absence from duty.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-

JUNIOR ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL):

a. Essential Qualification:

1. Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized University/ Institution.

2. Person who has honorably retired in the rank of EE / AE / JE from Central/State PWD or CPSUs / PSUs need only apply.

b. Desirable Qualification:

1. Person having working knowledge of computers viz MS Office, MS Windows, Excel, etc and PERT/ CPM techniques.

SELECTION PROCESS:

The selection will be through a personal interview which will be held at the ESIC, Regional Office, Panchdeep Bhavan, Patto, Panaji-Goa. The candidate must be physically fit, motivated, dynamic and result oriented and willing to join immediately after selection. No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Date of interview is tentatively fixed for 17/09/2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Regional Office, Employees' State Insurance Corporation, Panchdeep Bhavan, Patto, Panaji-Goa.

and submitted in an envelope super scribed "Application for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical)" by Registered post / Speed post.

b. The application form in the prescribed format, should also be accompanied with

(1) Self attested Photo copies of diploma/degree and other educational qualifications. (2) proof of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering

(3) Caste certificates and

(4) Proof of retirement.

c. On selection the candidate has to submit the Medical Fitness Certificate issued by CMO. (Govt.Hospital) before joining the ESI Corporation.

d. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will be rejected. No interim correspondence will be entertained. The last date for receipt of application is 31/08/2018, at 5:00 P.M.

Merely fulfillment of the minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right on the candidate being called for interview. Since it may not be possible to call all the candidates for interview, the applications can be short listed for the purpose. The decision of ESIC will be final. The ESI Corporation will not entertain any correspondence in this respect.
