Applications are invited online only by One Time Registration exclusively from qualified candidates for selection to the undermentioned post (By transfer recruitment).

Note: (i) Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates can apply online only by One Time Registration to www.keralapsc.gov.in.

(ii) In the absence of suitable candidates, the vacancies set apart for By Transfer recruitment shall be filled up by the candidates from the Ranked List prepared for Direct recruitment.

(iii) The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service, as on the date of application.

(iv)
Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for Kollam, Kozhikode and Kasaragod districts in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the vacancies reported during the currency of the lists. In case no candidate is advised from the ranked list till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the ranked list shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier.
(v)
Candidates should submit applications for the post to any one of the above Districts and should note the name of the District against the relevant column of the application. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, and if he/she is selected his/her name will be removed from the Ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
(vi)
The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (Ms)No.154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS)No.4/61/PD, dated 02.1.1961. But as per the GO(P) No 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.3.1996 the condition of 5 years service is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts. The concession will be available only for getting

transfer to these districts but not for getting transfer out of these districts. And this concession will be granted only once in the career of a Govt Servant. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.

(vii) The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Article 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.

    1. Qualifications:

      1. A Bachelors Degree or Post Graduate Degree in English language and literature.

      2. B.Ed/BT/LT with English as optional subject conferred or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Note:-(i) The discipline in which B.A/M.A and B.Ed. Degrees were obtained should be mentioned in the application.

(ii) Those candidates who secured B.Ed/B.T/L.T Degree from the Universities outside Kerala should note in the application form, the number and date of relevant orders declaring the said degree as equivalent to those prescribed for this selection. The copies of such order shall be produced before the commission when it is called for.

(3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) for this post conductedbytheGovernmentofKerala Exemption:Candidates whohave qualifiedCTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed.in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn.Dated30.08.16andG.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn.Dated08.12.2016).

Note: i) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in KeralaorrecognisedasequivalentbyanyoftheUniversitiesinKerala.

ii) The Employees of the General Education Department who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant can apply to the above post even if they have not passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) subject to the condition that they should acquire the KTET qualification within 31.03.2019 (G.O. (MS) No. 134/2017/G.Edn. Dated 30.10.2017)

(4) Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application.

Note: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II of KS &SSR is applicable for this post.

8. Mode of Sending applications :-

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in ' . Those who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their user ID and password. Candidates must click on the `Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The photograph uploaded should be one taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link 'Registration Card' in the Profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure the correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote their User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The Application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove Qualification, experience, Community, age etc. have to be produced as and when called for. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
