INTERNSHIP FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES

Employees State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of

Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Applications are invited for internship from external candidates who have passed final BDS Examination on or before 31-10-2018 against vacant internship seats.

Last date for submission of Application: 19-11-2018 (Monday) up to 3:00 pm in Office of the Dean, ESIC Dental College, Rohini.

depending on availability of vacant seats) Date of interview : 05-12-2018 Commencement of Internship : 01-01-2019

Applicants for the above internship may apply in the form appended below. Application complete in all respects along with attested copies of all essential certificates and Demand Draft are to be sent in a cover super scribed Application for Internship for external candidates in ESIC Dental College & Hospital by Registered Post/ Speed Post /by hand so as to reach The Office of the Dean, ESIC Dental College & Hospital, Sector-15,Rohini, Delhi-89 by 3pm of 19-11-2018. Application should be submitted in the prescribed form only. It should be filled up in Block/capital letters in the candidates own handwriting. If there is any variation in application form, the same shall be rejected. Essential terms and conditions are as follows:

1. The candidate is to submit the reason for undergoing internship at ESIC Dental College, Rohini.
   1. The candidate is to submit an undertaking regarding willingness to:
      1. Do internship at ESIC Dental College & Hospital, Rohini, Delhi at monthly stipend of Rs 3000 (Three thousand only) subject to fulfillment of terms and conditions laid down by ESIC.
      2. Deposit Rs. 2,00,000 (two lakh only) as training fee if got selected for internship, in the form of Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund A/c No.1, before starting the internship. The fee is not refundable after the start of training.
      3. Follow internship program of ESIC Dental College & Hospital, Rohini.
      4. Maintain good conduct, discipline and decorum of the institution and that the authorities of ESIC would have the right to discontinue the internship at any time for any misconduct, indiscipline and unsatisfactory work (on part of the candidate).
2. A deposit in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000 (Rs. Ten thousand only) in favour of ESI Fund A/c No.1 which would be refundable only in case the selection is not done. In case of selection, it would be adjusted within the total fee of Rs. 200,000 (Rs. Two Lakhs only). It would not be refunded in any case, if the candidate does not join after his/her selection. The demand draft should not be tagged or stapled but should be pinned or clipped at the top of the application form. The name and address of the candidate and the purpose applied for should be written on the reverse of the demand draft.
   1. The candidate is to submit following documents, essentially as under:
      1. No Objection Certificate from his / her college of passing out, letter should also state that the college was not de-recognized by Dental Council of India during the course of training from admission to passing out and the college is duly recognized by Dental Council of India.
      2. Permission of the University to which the parent college is affiliated to do internship at ESIC Dental College, Rohini.
      3. No Objection Certificate for doing paid internship at ESIC Dental College, Rohini, Delhi is also to be obtained from DCI by applying on online portal of DCI (Refer Letter No.DE-1-MisclII/2017/16511 dated 04/01/2018 and Letter No. DE-1-2016/12273 dated 16/01/2017) and submitted.
      4. Attempt certificates of passing BDS (each part/year).
      5. Attested copies of mark sheets of all BDS examinations (each part/year) passed.
      6. Documentary evidence of distinction/academic achievements/extra cocurricular achievements if any.
      7. Character and conduct certificate of the student from the parent College /

Institution. Note:

1. Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate for being called for Interview. ESIC reserves the right to adopt other criteria / terms and conditions for scrutinizing the application in case of large numbers of applications are received.
2. Candidates are advised to bring all the original documents for verification at the time of Interview.
3. Wrong declarations/submission of the false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
4. No private practice is allowed during Internship in ESIC Dental College.
5. The results of the interview will be available on the Website and notice board of ESIC Dental College, Rohini. No enquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
6. Mode of Selection: The selection for the said internship will be on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board at ESIC Dental College and Hospital, Sector-15, Rohini, Delhi-89.
7. Applications without Demand Draft of Rs 10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) and necessary documents will be rejected.
