Walk in interview on January 29, 2018 for JRF Position in SERB Project
Job Description: Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in DST-SERB, New Delhi sponsored project (EMR/2015/001757) project entitled Towards development of a novel high resolution and high contrast in-vivo imaging technique based on Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography (SSOCT) and unique Upconversion Nanoparticles (UCNPs)" at Department of Bio-Engineering, BIT Mesra, Ranchi.
Job duration: 3 years
Salary: a)Rs. 25000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 28000/- for last year, for NET/GATE or any national level Ph.D entrance qualified candidate, and M.Tech candidate.
b) Rs.16000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 18000/- for last year for non-NET/GATE qualified candidate.
Job location: Department of Bio-Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand-835215.
Eligibility: M.Tech/ M.Sc. in Physics/Nanotechnology/Photonics/Biophysics or allied subjects with at least 55% marks. NET/GATE or other national level examination qualifiers will be preferred. Candidate should have strong inclination towards research. Basic experience in MATLAB and Nanomaterial synthesis and characterizations will be ideal.

Successful candidate can enroll for Ph.D program of the institute after qualifying the entrance test for the same.
