Applications are invited from qualified Indian nationals for the following posts under the ICMR major research project at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus.

Project title: Efficacy & Effectiveness of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities for health awareness and promotion among women in Rajasthan: Towards a HOPE approach.

Project Director: Dr. Gajendra Singh Chauhan (Email ID: gsc@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in) Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) No. of posts: Two (2) Duration: Initially for one year (subject to extension for one more year depending upon the favourable performance) Fellowship: 25,000 per month (Excluding HRA)

Essential Qualifications:

M.A./ M.Phil. in Social Sciences (Psychology/Political Science/Sociology/Economics /Development Studies/Women's Studies/Gender Studies/Business Studies) Candidates who have qualified JRF/NET are encouraged to apply.

Strong command over MS Word/Excel/SPSS is required.

Desirable:

Candidates with prior experience in the social sciences related field work, data collection and data analysis; those who have engaged in report writing/publications in peer reviewed journals; having good command over English, Hindi (speaking and writing) will be preferred.

The deadline for receiving the application and details is 5th September 2018 (Wednesday). Shortlisted candidates will receive emails for the selection interview within 10 days after the deadline.

The interviews are scheduled on 12th September 2018 (Wednesday). Selected Candidate is required to join with immediate effect.

Note:

1. Candidates must show all the original certificates while they attend the interview in person at the Dept. of HSS, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus.
   
   
2. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
   
   
3. If performance of the RA is not found satisfactory during the service, position can be terminated with one month of prior notice.
   
   
4. The RA may resign through a 3 months advance notice at any point of their contract.
