Notification for Walk-In-Interview

A Walk-In-Interview is arranged on 01 October, 2018 for two temporary post of Senior Research Officer for the above mentioned project. The appointment will be purely on contract basis.

Position: Senior Research Officer

No. of Positions: Two

Essential Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Mathematics/Demography/Population Studies OR

M.Phil. degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Mathematics/Demography/Population Studies and one-year experience of working in Demographic and/or Health related research project,

OR

Masters degree in Statistics/Biostatistics/Mathematics/Demography/Population Studies and two-year experience of working in Demographic and/or Health related research project,

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Experience in generating maps through GIS/ArcGIS viz. able to produce data layers, maps, tables or reports using geographic information systems (GIS) technology.
   
   
2. Exposure to spatial statistics
   
   

Note: Essential qualifications may be relaxed by the selection committee in case of a candidate found exceptionally suitable otherwise.

Salary: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Duration: 3 months (likely to be extended till the tenure of the project)
