Part-time positions Research Assistants

Tata Institute of Social Sciences invites applications for a short term research study titled Gender sensitive counseling interventions in family courts. The study is supported by Maharashtra State Womens Commission. The broad aim of the study is to understand gendered dimensions of marital concerns and stressors experienced by litigants of family courts in Maharashtra and of counseling interventions provided for the same by marriage counselors.

Duration of the Study: 4 months

Starting Date: February 15, 2018

No of positions: 3

We are therefore hiring three part time- research assistants (3 full days a week)

Qualification:

Masters Degree in Psychology (preferably clinical and counseling) from a recognized university. Candidates with prior research experience will be preferred.

Job responsibilities:

The primary tasks of the research assistant will be as follows -

Data collection

Data entry

Data analysis

Help in report writing and dissemination of research findings

The research assistant may be required to travel to various sites in Maharashtra for data collection.

Remuneration: Rs. 10000/- per month
